A versatile Eye Pillow to soothe tired eyes, block out unwanted light and help deepen your relaxation and presence during meditation. Use the eye pillow warm to relax or soothe sore muscles. When cool, use it to reduce swelling or puffy eyes and relieve headaches.

Heat in the microwave or oven for warmth. Cool in the freezer or can also be used at room temperature. Safety instructions included. Not for use in a gas cooker or grill.

Ethics

Cover is made from 100% European Linen. Inner Bag is made from natural cotton, unbleached and untreated. It is filled with Whole British Wheat, sourced from the Cotswolds. Printed with water-based, non-toxic inks.

Patterned fabrics are printed at a workshop in Staffordshire, using traditional rotary print methods and Magna Colours Eco Inks.

Care + Use

Care: The linen cover can be removed and machine or hand washed separately. Use a mild detergent and wash at 30°c on a gentle setting. Avoid tumble drying. Do not wash the inner bag with wheat grain inside. The inner bag may look slightly brown after use, due to reacting with the moisture content of the wheat - this is normal.
Safety: Do not overheat. Do not use a gas oven or the grill setting on an electric oven. Heat the bag in a clean, oven proof container and always use a timer. Never leave the bag unattended when heating. When heating in a microwave, ensure the turntable turns freely with the bag on it and is not obstructed. Do not allow the wheat to dry out otherwise it could burn. Rehydrate the wheat by placing an overproof container of water along with the bag in the oven or microwave to create steam, alternatively, sprinkle the bag with water before heating. Do not reheat until completely cooled down. Leave the bag to cool on a non-combustable surface such as a kitchen draining board. When freezing, place the inner bag in a freezer-proof container.
